Hello Long Island! My wife and i will be coming to visit my family the first week in September! My parents live in Nesconset so we will be in that area!! I cant wait to come HOME for a little bit before i have to back....

I got to install my PSC evap skid today as well as 98% of the CB radio. Just need to tune it (got the SWR earlier today) and install the CB bracket. Power and antenna cables are run as well as wiring for the remote speaker. I mounted the CB in the console and installed a West Marine water resistant speaker on the dash just to the right of the steering column.

They tuned mine in their parking lot for free. Of course I bought an antenna from them...

here is the evap skid installed,
I posted a thread in 'general discussion' with more photos of the skid install.
I will get pix of the CB install soon. I am very happy I mounted the CB in the console as last night, I had the roof off but Jeep was covered with my bestop full cab trail cover but did not strap the top down. The water filled up and the top caved in with lots of water onto the dash and console. CB was totally dry but everything else was soaked and when I opened the door, water poured out. I pulled out the front carpeting (rear carpet was already out) pulled the plugs and went to bed. Got up this morning, all the water drained but everything still wet. I left the cover on and blasted the heat for about an hour...all is dry and so far everything works. Time to bed-line the floor.
Very cool! We have a lot of guys out in suffolk. Maybe we can try to set up a meet and greet one night
