Sorry to hear the boat is going, Tom. Good luck with that! At least you can put some more funds towards the JK though - if you should choose to do so :D I have to get my CB wired, too actually...forgot about that one!
Thanks Brian...I;ve been boating my entire life so it will be an adjustment for me. Still working part time at West Marine though, hope to get a smaller boat, something trailerable behind the JK in the next year or 2. This 28 foot boat costs me $5-6K a year to maintain between dockage, boat yard storage and maintenance, fuel and insurance but the house needs a new roof and bills have to get paid. A trailer boat (ones I've had in the past) cost about $600 a year to run...big difference.

I have all the parts to install the CB but am unsure about the whole tuning and meter thing. I was going to pick one up but need to figure out what to do with it.

I'm finally jumping up to 37's. I'm going with 37" PitBull Rocker radials, and sticking them on 15" wheels (like you Adam) - LOVE the big sidewalls! Going with 4.88's, also picking up a built D30 front axle from Evan with 4.88's already (going there THIS morning), and throwing a Yukon Grizzly locker in the rear. So yea, I've got a lot of shit going on :smokin:
I cant wait to see this! Once its done are you finally guna join us at LIOR?

YES I AM! Rausch, etc...I plan on getting out there and beating the crap out of it. I'm using Dimitri as my role model, :shaking:. Evan has already said I've got the second most beat JK he's seen around here...OTHER than Dimitri - so we'll see what happens! LOL

I just found out my tires are on back order, so it'll take a couple weeks to get it all together, but oh well...it'll be time soon enough.

Wheels are ordered though, built D30 paid for which I left at Evan's - I didn't pick it up because I have a set of Poly Performance ball joints coming and Evan is going to press them in before I take my new D30 home. It's got EVO tube sleeves/c-gussets/control arm skids on it and 4.88's, all installed 5,000 miles ago. I'm pumped for all this to start coming together...especially since it'll replace my original D30 with no mods done to it, bent axle tubes, 3.21's, and 93,000 miles! LMAO...

Oh and LILWB, the 1" rear Teleflex spacers I bought from you...they're on their way to their new home in San Diego, CA as we speak - lol. I love the internet! :)

Sweet! Ya we do a hell of a lot more than Rausch Creek. You can plan on wheeling at least once a month with us. Real wheeling not fire roads in the pines or flat sandy beaches.
Rausch is the last place we want to go. There's tons of private land that we wheel that's tons better than Rausch.
Very good to know! :)

I installed a MyGiG Lockpick into my heep last night with a back up camera. Now my Fiancee wont be afraid to back it out of our driveway!
We can also watch DVD's while on the long drives to go wheeling.
I dont know why I didnt do this sooner!
Now, Things to do on my vacation next week in preparation for TRAILFEST 2011.

1:Install synthetic line on my Warn 9.5ti and swap it with my M8000 currently on my JK. Put M8000 onto fiancee's LJ
2:Install longer front bump stops so my front driveshaft stops hitting my tranny
3:Install Cobra 75 CB under my dashboard
4: re-wire 3rd brake light onto spare tire mount and permanently mount back up camera
5:Finish on board air installation
6:Finish Dual Battery Installation
7: figure out why I am still getting a small evap leak and gascap code so I can finally get a state inspection
8: weld rub rail/step onto my rubicon rocker protection and re-weld my hi-lift mount so I dont have to take my spare tire off to access my jack.
9: front end alignment so I can turn off that psekey ESP BAS dash light and then fully disable the system.

So, whats the over under on me getting it all done while still enjoying the beach and mountain biking?

I give you till october to get that all done... And I'll take the over on it! LOL

I bought my ALLGIG before my jeep was delivered! I love it! It makes using Nav fully functional while driving. And, Surround sound and sub sound great when the kids are watching The Incredibles ;)

DJ,

1:Install synthetic line on my Warn 9.5ti and swap it with my M8000 currently on my JK. Put M8000 onto fiancee's LJ

1.5 hours

2:Install longer front bump stops so my front driveshaft stops hitting my tranny

1.5 hours

3:Install Cobra 75 CB under my dashboard

1.5 hours

4: re-wire 3rd brake light onto spare tire mount and permanently mount back up camera

1.5 hours

5:Finish on board air installation

Don't know how far you are, I'll opt. for 4 hours

6:Finish Dual Battery Installation

Don't know how far you are, I'll opt for 2 hours

7: figure out why I am still getting a small evap leak and gascap code so I can finally get a state inspection I

Loose hose clamp connection, had one 3 years ago when I relocated the EVAP. Tightened it down, done. Hopefully 5 minutes.

8: weld rub rail/step onto my rubicon rocker protection and re-weld my hi-lift mount so I dont have to take my spare tire off to access my jack.

If you have a welder, with prep, 2 hours.

9: front end alignment so I can turn off that psekey ESP BAS dash light and then fully disable the system.

Shouldn't need an alignment if steering wheel is centered, and toe is 0-1/16" in.

That can all be done by next Thursday, no problem. Get to ******* work!!!:thefinger:

On another note, NOVA has me trail leading blacks only Friday and Saturday. So much for stretching her legs with the new locker on Friday with some blues, straight to the lions den for me. No problem!! Trailer got a nice coat of Rustoleum gloss black, all the trailer lights have been changed over to LED (markers and tails). Just finished the cut away brake. Trailer is looking REALLY purdy!! Just need an oil change on ol' Red and she'll be good to go for Trail Fest. D44 spares in the back too, finally. Been searching for a while.

I have gone through the evap system over and over, cant find what it is. I am beginning to think its the stock connections between the hard lines since they are a little more stressed with the can in a different place. I might cut them out completely.

Ya the steering wheel is not centered anymore so that needs to be addressed then I want to do that procedure of turning the wheel and pressing the button to turn off the ESP for good. I fkng hate ABS!

I'll probably just stick to the necessary stuff. I will still need to rig up a way to keep the dog in the jeep and some kind of cargo basket for all our crap. Also Jenny got new rocker armor/sliders for her LJ and I'll have to paint those along with her hard top and re-paint her bumpers. We have spent most of our summer working in the yard/house so we have a lot of beach time and mountain biking to catch up on so the new outdoor shower that I plumbed up can be put to good use!

I also have to help my neighbor put new sheathing on his car port. Its currently rotting press board and it makes our back yard look even more white trash than it is. Granted the pile of jeep tires and parts doesn't help but at least I will be able to hide them behind the shed now that we put pea gravel down.
Gezzz I can go on and on!

Hows the new house cumming?

Is Jenny bringing the LJ to Trail Fest? If not, leave her mods until the following week!!

House is coming along. Slowly but surely. Doesn't help working 6-7 days a week 14 hour days.

Tony, U guna wheel that beast?
I'm so flunking busy it’s utterly disgusting...
Knoxville, San Jose, Portland, DC, Boston (work), and then the Outer Banks all in the last couple of months. I’m sure there’s another city or two in there that I missed.

Pratt Institute this weekend with son #1.
Temple University next weekend with #2, then off the Cape Cod for a week.

August and September are cooked, but I’d like to do something in October?
