This is the Long Island thread. Post up whats happening on Long Island
If you're talking about the bar, yeah I drove all the way out and it actually hooks around a little bit.Ii was out there last weekend during low tide and it didn't look that bad....were you able to drive to the end.......
I tapped into the line from the Transmission.Nice. where did you tap in the temperature gauge?
Thank you, Tapped into Tranny line and volt gauge is spliced into ignition wire under steering column.cooz - nice setup!
those hooked to an aeroforce?
I stubbied my TJ's front bumper with no problems.
there is no law against it in NY. It must cover the body (grille) not the flares or tires. Thanks, I'll probably go with a stub or at most a mid width then.
Ouch!As usual, MaBell was a handful. That bitch of a trail always takes rigs down one by one. One roll over onto the roof and one blown engine, on a JK nonetheless. More body damage on my rig, what else is new. More info and pics once I write the report.
Friday morning I found that my tire was rubbing on the left front brake line and had worn theough the stainless braid and into the rubber. I didnt feel safe taking it all the way to Mass. After reading about Blane I am glad I stayed in bed saturday morning. As usual, MaBell was a handful. That bitch of a trail always takes rigs down one by one. Who rolled over?
Call Evan at 516-384-5349. We all use him. Very skilled, good prices, and a real jeeper.I'm debating on purchasing a Rubicon or maybe the least expensive JKU I can find and modifying it. I am 60 and don't know if I want to tackle all these projects myself. To start with I would like to regear if I went with an X. Is there a trusted shop around that does this work? Some of the other things I could do myself.
Thanks in advance.
Trotter, I'm sure people here would also be willing to give you a hand on installing stuff as well.![]()
