and swap to the aev rims for street use

Well the 40s definitely look good when the wheelbased is stretched, without a doubt. But take a close look at that Sahara on the link, it looks like DOGSHIT.

I'm a big fan of CofoLO or whatever the hell his name is, the red one, definitely is pretty...IN RED!

The last one is ******* HIDEOUS with all that lift. Great drivetrain, WAYYY too much lift.

planman's looks decent, but I think a little too low for 40s even though it works 100% sweeter than sweet.

I guess it boils down to what truck the 40s are on and how it's setup.

I'll post some photos in a few..

I'm still getting some DS vibes in the 75-80 mph range.. Almost feels like a mild version of running over those rumble strips. Gonna add another 1.5 turns to the control arms Tuesday and see what happens.

I'm having a hard time with the 35's and 17" wheels.. I guess the wheel being so much bigger makes the tire look that much smaller (or it's just the a/t's). I gps'd it and the speedo is dead on. Which to me means the tire is the same height as the 35" mtr's I removed.

Yes, Joe, I think it's the 17" rims. Check out how my 33s look like the same or even more tire than your 35s due to 15".

i see what your saying about the bigger rim making the overall wheel/tire look smaller. i dont think it looks bad. 37s would be perfect :stirthepot:

EDIT: i guess you just added pictures, or my computer thought now would be a good time to show me them, I think the duratrac (sp?) looks better because of the more aggressive side wall. I think if you had all 5 of those maybe they would look bigger, trick your eye more????

EDIT 2 : also noticed you put the ram air top on.... I definitely like that one better.

The Ford Raptor comes with 35" BFG A/Ts and the Ram Power Wagon comes with 33" A/Ts, either way it it hard to get used to seeing anything other than MTs on a built jeep.

Personally I like the other snorkel intake, it looks like the original military hummer intake right on the hood.
