How is your lockdown situation? Given the continued rise of infections, how is your local doing so far to fight against these outbreaks?

Many are refusing to comply with shutting down the businesses, and many of us citizens are refusing to comply to the masks. We are fighting back on a small scale, but I hope the trend grows and more resist.

In our area, the lockdown is very strict. You cannot go to a place without wearing a face mask and a face shield.

Do you mean your government is trying to shut down completely every business there? I recently read this article about how every business can survive during this pandemic and it's through online marketing, it's not surprising to me that almost all of the businesses here in my country has shifted to digital marketing as profits are booming in this market. I hope your government allows them to do their businesses in a different way, lots of businesses went bankrupt during the last lockdown because they were forced to shut down for 4 months.

I just found out about this article and I thought I could share and leave it here, a good read for most of us that's trying to maintain our mental well-being during these days. Always keep yourself safe.

It's hard to serve food digitally, and people want to go sit at a restaurant and eat, not take home food and eat it once it's cooled some.

Honestly, a lot of people are done with it, don't care and don't want to hear. I'm in a rural area and this thing isn't a thing here. I still, after 9 months, know one person who supposedly got it when she had a fever, exhausted and diarrhea for 3 days... she tested positive. That's the extent of it.

The place we go to breakfast on weekends has already said that if they tell them to shut down again, he will not until they physically come and shut him down.

Many bars and clubs around here went back to the prohibition era "Speakeasy" way of running business. Black out all windows, no exterior lights, cars parked off of the property and enter/exit a back door.... but they paid the bills. That's likely coming back.

Not everyone is behind this socialist takeover.

I think here in the US, during first wave, most people were very good, and patient, and getting used to it.. then restrictions were lifted....then the "chaos" of local lockdowns , which appeared to serve no purpose...now another national lockdown... And people are slowly losing the plot. I SWEAR , even the parcel delivery men are cracking under pressure . They are going to have their work cut out on the run-up to Christmas. There was a parcel on my doorstep for across the road... It would have gone through letterbox... Plus 3 parcels outside my gate for a house 20 houses away!!!! It's as though they had cracked under pressure and just thrown them out of the window!!! But the lonely, and elderly and vulnerable are finding it difficult, living in a world of isolation, fear and confusion. It's terrible really...

The whole thing is blown out of proportion. Here in San Antonio Tx we are good at the moment. Schools are in session, Restaurants and Bars are open. They are saying that they might close down bars again. But I think this whole thing is just being over played. I had a blood test done and it they said that I had the resistant antibodies and couldn't get it but that I more than likely have had COVID. Well a week later they tested me and I was negative, shocking surprise LOL. I have been in and around my wife and kids all the time so if I had the COVID I would have given it to one of them for sure, by kissing my kids and wife. Well none of us have ever had any symptoms at all. I understand people are dying. Well people die yearly to the regular flu too. Why do I have to wear a mask if I can't get it. It should be a choice kind of thing. If you want to wear a mask so be it, but I dont want too.

I really hope vaccines will work as intended. The long term symptoms I'm reading in the news and comments from the patients that recovered is totally not my preferred choice of surviving this pandemic.
