little bit of angle iron and some chopsaw & welder time

gonna use some gasket material to go between them and the paint.
still some cleaning up and powder coating to do and get some lights - more pics later
depending on how they look I may move the light mount part lower and outside more by sliding it down the bracket
Pretty much just playing for now :D

I think my best one so far has been when I found out that the cosmoline grease that military surplus rifles come packed in melts and disolves in a dishwasher if you use the potscrubber setting
I bought a particularly nice SKS at a show not long ago.........

Here are some finished pics
the jeep is filthy, it misted rain and then was wicked dusty

close up

crappy cell pic

crappy night pic

cell pic of all the lights on

I used super cheapie lights, $16/pr but they're 100 watt with decent long range beams- bright as hell!
and at that price, they're disposable if they get busted.
Wired from stock fog wiring to kick a relay to power all the lights so as not to upset the computer:shaking:

Ack! My eyes! That looks pretty bright!

Good thing those lights are inexpensive because it seems as though the bumper ones are in a dangerous location. I know around here in the rocks they wouldn't last.
