New to jk's looking for a lift. Around 4" for 35's. to go on an 08 jku rubicon. Looking to spend around a $1000 . Any idles and why. Thanks . Chris

sounds like you will have enough cash for a standard coil lift. if your wanting to go 4in i would recommend taking consideration into driveshaft replacement at some point down the road $$ . honestly if your looking for something your going to DD and take off road every now and again, i would go 2.5 in and you can still clear 35s with stock flares just fine. no need for driveshaft modification/replacement with a 2.5 kit. oh it just goes on and on

Search around and you'll find that you don't need a 4'' lift for 35's. For your budget I'd say go for the Rock Krawler 2.5" max flex kit.

Just found out that I you all replied. Thanks for the input. This is for a friend. I think I would go with 21/2 to 3 myself . There is no need to go any more for 35's. more lift equals more mods that you don't need to do for what he wants. Thanks Chris .
