Anyone know of an HONEST mechanic in the Seattle-ish area? I need the clockspring replaced on my 2008 Wrangler X and even though I can locate the part for about $200, the quotes I'm getting are between $5-600.00

I would do it myself (there's a bunch of youtube, etc. guides) but don't have the tools and am seriously annoyed there doesn't seem to be a mechanic that will take on this hour long job for around $300. :shitstorm:

Anyone have any suggestions, recommendations or other advice it's be much appreciated!

It is a very easy job. Hardest part is getting the airbag off. I bought a good 90 degree pick and it worked perfect for releasing the airbag tabs. It should only take around 20 minutes to do the job. There is a great write up on the job on this forum.
