A friend of a friend would like to put my stock 18" 08 JK wheels and tires on his YJ. Can anyone tell me what he will need to do to fit these. I am assuming he will need wheel adapters. What bolt pattern size is on the YJ? Will he need a lift to fit the 32" Factory Bridgestones?

Thanks

Why?

After spacers are added, you still have an 18 inch wheel. Spacers/adapters are going to run about 150 to 200 for a set. The 18 inch wheel isn't very good for wheeling unless he is going to be running 40s.

You can buy a set of 15 inch steel wheels for not much more than the adapters.

I suppose if it's a street rig and he doesn't want to buy all new tires then it's be ok, but other than that it doesn't seem like a good idea.

Total street rig. Doubt it will see anything more then a snowy street or a dirt road. At this point it is cheaper for him to buy the Sahara wheels w/tires and adapters then buying new 15" rims and tires.

Thanks for the replys..
