We have this 2011 JKUSp on the rack and conversion underway! It's getting new axles, long arm kit, our RECON coil-over kit and more! Stay tuned!

If you guys have any questions about what you see, quote the picture and ask away!

Nice. I like the look of your stuff. Excited to see the total travel, clearance and arm angles when you're done!

Ugh, having grown up inside a Westfalia bus... I kinda want one of these. Wtf is wrong with me.
A member here, Dan Grec, has one on the JKU he is circumnavigating Africa with. That reminds me, I need to go check in on his website and see how he is making out recently.

Since it's gonna get asked at some point anyway, I'll just fire it off now.

The rear coilovers. Can you set the record straight on why you guys take the route you do? I understand there's always a compromise with anything. It just looks like you'd have digressive spring rates with the angle they appear to be at.
How much travel in the coilovers and how much wheel travel are you getting?

I was trying not to be too harsh..........it is the Christmas season and all.:thefinger:

Hello again. It's really simple. We wanted to design a BOLT-ON system that will fit a FACTORY set-up. There's just no way to meet those requirements in the rear AND have vertical coilovers.

We use the same angle that the factory shocks are already placed. Some competitors are able to achieve steeper angles, but they use shorter length shocks to do so. The travel that is "lost" (not lost, but slightly redirected) with having an angled coilover is less than the travel that is actually lost by having to use a shorter shock in order to achieve a steeper angle.

EG: A 10" shock at a steep (or vertical) angle gives less travel than our 14" shocks at the factory angle.

Hope this helps!

got the axles on! (rockjock 60's)

For anyone not acquainted with Currie Enterprise's Jock Jock 60, here's your chance!

What's your preferred axle housing?

How much lift do you have to run to achieve the same angle as factory shocks because it appears as if the lower mount sits higher than factory and the upper mount definitely sits further back all increasing the angle of the coilovers?

At that ride height, how much shaft is showing on that 14" coilover?

I have the recon kit up front on my 2014 JKU. I did the installation myself. I love how simple it was to install. Definitely a learning process. Needed to upgrade my steering as well as improving my aftermarket track bar. My question is, I a, getting a lot of rubbing from the lower spring perch rubbing against the axle. Did i miss something on the installation as far as having to grind something? I will have pictures tomorrow to better understand my question.
