JK exhaust measurements

I searched but couldn't find the info, and since I am at work, I thought i would see if anyone had the info handy.

If I remember right, the exhaust outlet is 2 1/2 inches, but what diameter is the pipe from the cat to the muffler? I want to see if I can find the muffler I want online cheper than at the exhaust shop.

The muffler on there is 30 inches long! I had a smaller muffler on my 318ci Dodge!

On the plus side, it means there is plenty of room in there to play around with.

I am leaning towards the Flowmaster 40 Deltaflow, and have heard a few clips of others Jeeps with the series 40.

The piping is 2.5"

I had the magnaflow and it sounded good. I have heard the flowmaster and it was a littl louder then the magnaflow. I recently just got rid of the muffler all together though, lol

I ran my Vette with muffler-eliminators for about a year, lots of fun .... finally went back to a tunable exhaust when I upgraded the stereo... and couldn't hear it!
