Well, the J8 Jeep commando edition is finally in production for overseas only...turbo diesel, leaf springs, Dana 60's, bigger payload, and probably a real metal hood that will resist dings from bird $hit...why can't we have one???:bawling:

Everything I have read says it has a 60 in the rear with leaf springs and a 44 in the front with coils.

Seen one, sat in one :thefinger: They had then on display at the Euro Jeep Camp I went to the other week. They are for millitary use only from what I could gather. Yes they do have a 44 in the front and 60 in the rear, they have twin batterys mounted in the rear. The air intake is designed to let the engine run in a sand strom for up 5 hours, I have a couple of photo's from under the hood, taken late at night on my mobile once I get them of the phone I will post them.
