This time it's not even funny . The Left is at again and much like the last time they use timing of a disaster perpetrated by a deranged person to call for a ban on a class of weapons that they call Assault Weapons .

Democrats David Cicilline-D-R.I. and Ted Deuych-D-Fl. are in the process of submitting a bill called the Assault Weapons Ban of 2018 .

Hey morons Bill 'ain't in office anymore !

Do you think they are racists , they just don't like Black Guns .
Heaven forbid you want a Molle patterned weapon to protect your family .
Well Molle must be alien too , from the same planet that Kirk and Spock visited so they must be .

The 2nd Amendment is in the process of taking a beating based on feelings and not facts .
It was placed in the position so as to protect the 1st Amendment , the Founding Fathers knew what they were doing , too bad the lack of understanding of the Liberal Left to get it is lost on them .

I don't fear they will find traction , but it is going to be one of the Bills to go down in flames .

With the weak kneed Conservatives we have experienced of late , I hope so .

We need to enforce the “gun” laws that we already have.
I can’t think of any crime that can be committed involving a “gun” that we don’t already have a “law” to cover.

New laws and restrictions will do nothing to curb violence involving guns.

The people that follow the “laws” aren’t the ones committing “gun” crimes.

It’s not ******* rocket science.

Start enforcing the laws we already have in place to the fullest extent, then “gun crimes/violence” may start to dwindle.

When punks can use an illegal gun to rob a gas station and get off with a slap on the wrist, there is no deterrent.

Mass shooters are a mental health issue, not a gun problem.

Same old debate bla bla.

Let them ban my shit, it will double or triple the value.
I’ll sell a couple and move on to phase 2 of my Jeep Mods.

It freaking sucks that we’ve had another shooting, and my heart hurts for the families that were effected but people need to understand, it’s not a gun problem, and as long as the focus is on the “guns”, nothing will change or get better.

Its not gonna pass not with Trump in the white house and the republicans controlling the house and the senate.

I wonder how weapon sales for "assault rifles" is going to change. I bet there will be a lot of people out there buying everything in sight again because they think they might not ever get one.

^^^^^^
It’s “knee jerk “ if you ask me but just today Dick’s sporting goods announced that they are pulling “assault weapons” from the shelves and discontinuing a sales of them. They also changed their policy to “no gun sales to under 21” regardless of state law.

I was shocked but it is what it is.

Dicks isn't even a good store to go buy weapons or ammo at. I think it was kind of an after thought for them to try to cash in on their "sporting goods" name. I have been into the local one a couple of times but won't ever go back in there now. They can eat a bag of their name.

Now there seems to be an issue with an ongoing WalMart reluctance to sell Modern Sporting Arms and High Capacity Magazines at their locations Nation Wide . Don't like the place so......
As Jim said "Bag-O-Dicks" can blow me , I have never liked them anyway for anything ......

But what I find troubling is that now Trump is slippin' back to some form of Liberal Da-Ja-Poo , any move to restrict 2nd Amendment Rights of any age class is like any other restriction , a "first step" a "slippery slope" a "start of a conversation that needs to happen now" .
Give the Gun Ban Groups an inch and then they will want a Mile .
I'm 63 yrs young so this is not an issue that directly applies to me , but it should concern anyone of any age because there has been for as many years as I can remember an effort to remove guns from the hands of Law Abiding Americans .
And there has been an effort to not enforce the existing laws on prohibited persons from possession of any weapon of any type .
Seems to me that the conspiracy is that they will not enforce these laws in the hope that the hole around the non-enforcement will allow the Banner Types to be able to say "told ya so" and let those with "Feelings " to legislate the American Public out of their 2nd Amendment Rights . Then collapsing said hole .

Que Organ Music ...Funeral March.....It's going to happen again and again until the Libs quit letting their feelings get in the way of really aggressive enforcement , enforcement of all the laws that put the citizenry in harms way .

It was sad to watch Trump in his little pow-wow yesterday. The reservations I had in voting for him were on full display. He seemed more concerned with being able to brag about doing something, than the something he was doing. Half of the ideas he threw out were just flat out illegal.

"Go take their gun.............and then go to court to find them crazy". That gets a big **** you from me.

Hell, he gave Dianne Feinstein a boner just entertaining her new, desperately wanted AWB. When the proof from the DOJ says the old ban did absolutely zero to curb gun deaths.

Not too happy with my President right now.

My views on the Second Amendment are probably way different from most but I'll throw them out here anyway.

Background checks should be simple. "Have you ever used a gun in the commitment of a crime"? Answer yes= no gun, Answer no= gun.

Use a gun during the commitment of a crime = Manditory 20years and a day, without the possibility of parole.

Any felony other than using a gun in a crime should not be grounds to take someone's 2A rights away. Everyone has a right to protect their family, even douche bags. But use a gun to take something from someone else, you're ******* gone for 20+.

We don't need to travel down the slippery slope of mental illness and buying guns, we need to bring back homes for the insane. The left all but cleared them out years ago. In all of the mass shootings, those folks should have never been on the streets, let alone a gun store. The folks that put the time bombs on the streets are the loudest ones when they pop. It's just silly.

Guns are NOT the problem....it's people with mental issues.

IF it's not a gun, it WILL be some other weapon...car, truck, plane, bomb, ETC.

Oklahoma bombing, how many guns used....0
9-11, how many guns used ?......................0
Boston bombing, how many guns used ?......0 (until after bombing)

I can go on, but these are more recent with high death/injury tolls.

Here in MD, to buy an AR15, you need to jump through rings of fire, and give your left nut......But you can walk out with an AR10 no differently than buying a shotgun ...the D's got it all figured out :grin2: lol
