I currently have my 2dr up on a scissor lift, however, I need to work directly under the Jeep, plus I need to adjust how the lift is placed. Any thoughts on adding a second set of pipe jacks somewhere near the rear crossmember so I can drop the scissor lift for a while? Or is this a Darwin award waiting to happen?

So far there's been a couple and the Jeep hasn't fallen off yet. Do you reckon I can support it by the flat part of the rear frame where the rear crossmember connects?

Did you wind up with that Synergy long arm kit that was for sale a while back?
I bought one from @geberhard a few years back. Put it on my 4dr. $Synergy costs too much new so I'm always looking for gently used or never-installed. Snout doesn't pay full price for fabulous.
