I got a set of hood assist pistons, my back and shoulder after a recent truck accident has me realiziing what a pain it is opening the hood w 8" lift and 40's, figured this would help, but on the passenger side where the snorkel is the hood mounting point is missing being removed to mount the snorkel. Has anyone dealt with a work-around? I've seen mentions of modifying things but no explanation on what's modified. also, will it work with just one piston?
