thanks.
thanks.I'll post some poser pics with the 37"s tonight. Thanks for the comments guys![]()
The RK 3.5 kit would probably be just right for you. With 35"s it has a bit less of distance from the fender to the top of the tire.thx for the pics it still has a lot of wheel well in there a little too much for my taste. maybe some 4.5 inch springs with the rk stuff.
i gotta have a lift to look forward to during college.
does it feel unstable at that height at all with a 2dr?
can you run 37s with the 3.5 and flat fenders. The RK 3.5 kit would probably be just right for you. With 35"s it has a bit less of distance from the fender to the top of the tire.
The ride is really good. Very little change from how the stock springs felt, I'm impressed with it.
Yeah I do believe that it sez on the RK site (link below) that the 3.5 kit can run 37" with faltties.can you run 37s with the 3.5 and flat fenders.
glad it rides good now i gotta go look at their site some more![]()
yea i jsut saw that a little bit ago as well. i get ancy and post before i read all the way thoYeah I do believe that it sez on the RK site (link below) that the 3.5 kit can run 37" with faltties.
Thanks Atomic4x4 brother. Love your build to - very nice.Very nice!
Yeah I will go to 40"s in a year or so - with flat fenders and D60's. But for now, with this crazy flex 3 link RK suspension I get so much flex that in this 2nd pic, the right rear tire is grinding into the rear flare. So it has long legs but as you can see this kit needs a lot of room for that max flex. Thanks for your comments and god bless long leggsI do believe you have an enormous amount of room in your fenders...You could fit 38" tires with stock flares...or easily stuff 41" in there...could even do 42".
Looks good...Just a lot of room in there with stock fenders..
I don't see any. Some people switch to air bumps and weld brackets to the frame and use the factory pad on the axle, some people don't run any bump stops.Kev, where did you mount your bumpstops on the front since you cut off where it normally gets mounted? Thanks!
That's what I thought it looked like to, but figured I couldn't see everything.I don't see any. Some people switch to air bumps and weld brackets to the frame and use the factory pad on the axle, some people don't run any bump stops.
No bumpstops yet but plan to add a set of air bumps soon. I'll go with a setup pretty much like PhilD did. Its probably not good to over compress that big coilover shock.Kev, where did you mount your bumpstops on the front since you cut off where it normally gets mounted? Thanks!
Kevin,Thanks for the positave comments guys![]()
Choose your own spring rates and you can have them as firm or soft as you want. You can also adjust the pressure in the shocks. How do you like the coil-overs on the road? I'm sure that they are wet-dream while off-roading, but what about daily driving, handling, etc.? Too soft?
Depends on what brand you go with.Kevin,

I'd really love your thoughts here, because I have a 4-Door, and I'm contemplating going coil-overs up front after I install a long-arm kit.
Thanks man.
