This wasn't there a few weeks ago! I checked my oil level and it was fine. I thought maybe it was water but it's brown and oily. No spot on the ground where I park either.

Anyone have an idea how to fix it? Or what caused it?

Looks like your oil filter and your front crank seal are leaking.

The filter is tight, maybe leaking, but tight. What's with the front crank seal? Will that cost me 2 kids and a dog?

Just from looking... its not your filter. But it could be front crank seal or an upper oil pan gasket leak.

Have you been tracking your motor oil level?

I've burned a little oil, but not horrible. I haven't had any leaks like this. I know it wasn't there a few weeks ago, I was under there checking bolts and it wasn't like that. My oil level is fine right now, and there aren't any spot on the driveway, but I will check on it more often until it's fixed. My main concern is the cost.

So I stopped by the dealer today to check the cost to replace the crank seal and to my surprise..... $92!! I didn't have them diagnose it, I figured that would have cost the same as the repair.
