I know a lot of people have the cold on one side hot on the other and wonder if there's a problem with one of the doors. Well, there's only one door, and this is what it looks like.

That's the whole thing together. In the front you can see the ducting for the defrost vents.

This is with all the defrost ducting removed, but the dash air ducting intact. You can see the rotating door that controls flow to the defrost.

Now with the center vent duct removed you can see the open door for all of the dash ducting (the only door)

Hopefully this answers some questions.

Under that. It's a big flap. Didn't take pictures of that. But there aren't two of them, just one. Maybe one side binds up or something which would twist it. Or your dealer's just making stuff up.
