How nice! :)

So the other day I was out with my mom (Perhaps the youngest JK owner on the forum, still driving on my permit at age 15..) and we were sitting perpendicular to rush hour traffic, trying to get onto the road.... no one would let me out.

I saw a Jeep. I go "Mom, watch this. See that Jeep? He's gonna let me out."

I secretly crossed my fingers. Lo and behold he DID let me out. He also smiled and waved. My mom was astounded.

Keep it up guys, and don't forget to be nice to our brothers and sisters on the road. :D

Wonderful story!

And a great fellow Jeeper, whoever they were!:bounce:
Sweet

I don't get many waves, but I do back off and let any other wranglers get in my lane...

Or around you on the highway in the middle of the night :D
Funny, I was mentioning this comraderie amongst Jeeper's on a Mustang board just the other day. I always wave and try to be curteous, Mustang guy's always flip me off and want to race, lol.

Woa. I almost got a mustang.

*phwew* dodged that bullet.
I have to say when I owned my first jeep it was more common to get a wave from fellow jeepers. Now I just get looks like who the hell are you and why are you waving at me. And yes I use all the fingers not just one.:thefinger:
My wife and I call that the unspoken Jeep rule. We ALWAYS let other Jeeps into traffic we also stop to assist any Wrangler we see broken down.

We stopped one night to help this guy who had a flat tire and didn't have a spare (he had just bought it from a guy and was driving it home). He had called his dad who was bringing a spare (he owned a Wrangler too). This was his first Jeep and he was amazed that we had stopped to help. We took that opportunity to explain the Jeep wave and the Jeep family ways.

We see this guy often and he always gives the Jeep wave (even when he is in his work truck...lol).

So...keep waving and taking care of your fellow Jeeper!
Mustangs are for douchebags thats why.

I guess that makes me a double douchebag :thefinger:. I have two Mustangs.

Thats ok...I have a Camaro myself....I shudder to think what that makes me....:laughing:
I used to have a mustang, but had to get rid of it for the JK. I would have to say one of the better decisions I made. Mustangs + Chicago Winters = a lot of snow and getting stuck.

However, I was not a douche bag...atleast I can't recall I was one. Still the same old Neil. :grinpimp:
Everybody waves around here. I always wave. I even wave when I'm driving my wife's Toyota (at night). This forum needs a waving smilie. :)
you can always count on a fellow jeeper.don't worry about crossing your fingers.
