Are you a rock crawler, trail runner, overlander, mall crawler or a combination of those? Has it changed over the years?

We're a 2 Jeep family, 1 for rock crawling and some trail running. The other (wife's Jeep) is for trails and overlanding only.

How about you?

Great thread and video clip.

My jeep is my only four-wheeled vehicle so it is my daily. After that we use it for traveling and have been up and down the east coast a few times as we have people in Maine, Florida and many places in between. We have taken it on a 32 day, 10,000 mile trek across the country. We camp in it and it carries a full size bed so it is way better than a sleeping bag in a tent.

Took it drag racing (15.35 @ 89 MPH), I live 15 minutes from a drag strip so everything I own gets a pass or three. It is also my pickup and often tows a 4 x 8 utility trailer. It has towed our bikes to the race track, a yard of dirt or rocks and moved tons of stuff.

My Jeep is my best friend and therapist. When I’m sad and need a good cry she lets me cry it out. When I need to scream and yell because I’m so angry, she also lets me do that too. During these moments eventually she makes it all better and I am happy again. She is also a great friend because she has introduced me to some amazing friends! She also helped me find my passion again. My passion for writing and photography / videography and editing. She also helps me overcome my fear of heights taking me on some scary high places.

oh and… she’s my Daily Driver, Cross Country Adventurer, Overlander and Rock Crawler. No mall crawling as I hate shopping!

I use it to run my 82 year old mother around outside to look at cool shit and collect plant species for her yard. She no longer has a drivers license so she's at the mercy of those around her. This jeep was her little brothers who passed from cancer this last year. I have both of his jeeps now, bought the CJ5 10 years ago, he was the original owner of both. This JKU is perfect for the job. My wifes car while cool ( Turbo Macan ) is absolute shit offroad and my pickup is a '19 Ranger SCAB so even small dogs are cramped in the back seat.

This next year I'll take my mom over the Rubicon, my uncle was up that way constantly in his CJ when he was a youngster.

Since we sold our Cabin last Fall, we use it just for our in town needs. But on a rare occasion, we will use it on some trails, behind our Daughters Horse Ranch.
