Just another typical drenching rain event over the next days/ week. Rivers and lake levels already running high plus saturated ground and possibly 5-10 inches of rain on the way. Lotta people will be flooded out and I'm sure plenty of road-closures coming up over the next few days. No huge deal right now but might get a little nasty.

We had some jko peeps affected last time so just hope everyone stays safe and doesn't incur too much property damage.

Just bought a house down here in Driftwood so i'll cross my fingers. If anyone needs anything let me know and I'll gladly lend a hand.

Yep. Well I hope that they're just hyping this up but if it puts down water like they seem to think, it'll have some homeowners and drivers scrambling for higher ground. I know that y'all are around 1000+ in elevation and I don't think there's any major drains through those parts so y'all should be good. Be hella careful if heading in to Austin and some of those surrounding low-lying areas if it pours for hours. Take care.

I know Lagrange got upwards of 12 inches over the past 24 Hours. Here in Dripping the rain totals are all over the place.

Yea... we're all good here.. NW of H-town and down into LaGrange got hammered. More to come so not sure if there will be more flooding down this way or not. We're high above the river so aside from about 6" of water in the detached garage and back yard last night, we've been good.
