Just got some new hood latches for my 07 JKU Rubion, new owner. what do y’all think

I like the JL latches, plan on getting a set of those. About the only thing on the JK I do like.

One thing is though, i feel they clamp down to much but when i adjust them how it was with the stock they feel very loose and i could take them off with my pinky

This is why I went with the clevis pin/turnbuckle style. They simply hold the hood down without too much downward pressure on fender pad.

Drake/DV8 has similar but bases are plastic rather than aluminum.
