Hello. New member.
Bought a 2007 Unlimited Wrangler a couple of months ago and fixing it up(getting codes to go away) has kept me busy.
I'm now changing out the sound system. I've changed the head unit out to one of the Chinese Bluetooth/gps/DVD units and it sounds good. Then I changed out the 4 speakers to the kickers and that sounded great. I now want to add an amp to power those 4 plus the two tweeters and wondering if I have to run speaker wire all the way to the dash behind the head unit and splice there or if there was a way to splice elsewhere. I know I could just run the wire right to the front pods but that would not go to the tweeters.
Would it be best to do that and keep the tweeters being powered by the head unit?
Fun vehicle and I could do a write up on getting rid of P0456,0457 and 0430.
Thanks

I just replaced the tweeters with heavy magnet voice coil. Placed overheads and lower panel speaker with high quality. Then, bought a 1000 watt amp and cheap plastic sub. It is amazing sound for a jeep
