i am french and i don t write english very well sorry:innocent:

during my holyday with my JK a have make off road without door and hard top,but since a became in paris with my jk and is hard top there are a lot off noise

when the road is not perfect some cracking noise appear on the roof

i have try to lub all the joint
i have try to screew hard the hard top

but always small"cracccc"

please any one have the same problem?and may be a solution

Take to delership where Jeep was purchased. They can help.

Lock tight the 2 latches. Latches are behind sun visors at front of hard top.

No joint to lube (lub).

*Best to take to place where you buy Jeep JK.

check the two knobs that attach the two freedom tops.

these can loosen and sound like something is cracking.

Yeah, make sure you have these tight, mine creeks if they are not good and tight.

but don't tighten them too much or the screws will pop out of the top of the hard top!
