Pittsburgh 3 ton floor jack. $139.99 I just got it on sale for $89.99.

Works great, can't give a report on longevity but I have had a smaller floor jack that I bought at HF at least 10 years ago that still works great. Just too small for the JK.

OMFG great piece of gear to have, it will take your finger prints off if not careful.

The white "stable/riding" gloves for $10 make kick ass mechanics gloves. They are cheap, goatskin leather palmed (no melty on hot shit), breath well and have little terry cloth snot wipers
Riding/Stable Work Gloves, Medium
Western Safety - item#99581

Heavy Duty 17-1/2" Hand Riveter With Collection Bottle
Pittsburgh - item#66422
tighten everything and it is a beast. i have abused the crap out of mine it works great.

magnetic paper towel holder and can holder.
ya they seem gay till you use them to hold spray lube and towels to the side of the drill press. Holding cans of white grease on the press brake for dimpling. holding a Lo-carb monster to the tool box.

(magnetic spray can holder not shown)

Replace the press plates with some good ones from swag or just be carefull (mine are on 8 years so far) and when you do bend it just add more steel.

All of the impact sockets, deep, regular, whatever. I have done some dumb ass shit with them like a 3/4 drive 36" breaker bar reduced to 1/2" drive to a HF socket  I dont ever recall breaking one, just losing them once in a while.
Never had an issue with anything I've picked up from HF. They're cheap and close. That said, I'm going to start picking up Snap On as money permits.
not a tool per se, but their greenhouse is a great deal, two neighbors have them and they are actually pretty nice

I'll second these. Need to pick up a set for myself, instead of just stealing/borrowing them from others. :bounce:

Shop rule: If you need to borrow it more than once, you need your own.

Exceptions: Big crap, press, welder, bender, specific specialty tools, etc. :D
Ill second the step bits.
two perfect holes in 3/16 square tubing, dry, and at like 3500 rpm. Still sharp, no discoloration, and they did it fast!

Gloves, dremel bits, angle grinder and wheels. The grease gun kind of sucked, but when I exchanged it, the new one worked great.

Oh! The lifting slings make fuckin awesome cheap tree savers.
Ive had good luck w/the majority of stuff. The magnetic angle finder they sell has been used alot out of my box setting up caster & pinion angles.
I have had this bastard for about 8 years and it's still trucking right along. Converted it to a buffing tool a while back for billet pieces, may put the stones back on it again though. Got it for a whopping 25 bucks on sale.

http://www.harborfreight.com/garage-shop/stationary-grinder-buffer/6-inch-bench-grinder-39797.html
Got this on sale for 100 bucks. For the price its outstanding! I'm buying a 220 mig welder from them next.

x3, these things mowed right through my JK's frame and stayed sharp in the process. In fact all of the HF titanium nitride coated stuff I've used has been as good or better than the much more expensive name brand bits.

x3 on the jack stands too....and bottle jacks.

x2 on their recip saw, think I paid $24 for mine and it works fine.

x2 on the big-ass adjustable wrenches and pipe wrenches. Cheap and they work.

Also...

Snap ring pliers set

and

Ball joint service kit

Price has gone up, think I got mine for $40....used it on ball joints, ujoints, and a bunch of other chit...

this too

Strut compressor

This one has a bunch of shitty reviews but has always done right by me without scaring the shit outta you like regular spring compressors. It's heavy and bulky to move around the vehicle though.

And countless other things I've bought from them that work fine.

We should also have a thread of things to DO suck from HF....because there are some.
