Curious of the percentage of JKs with half doors. What do you have?

I wish I could afford a second set of doors, but I don't think I would have gone for half doors only (had they been available when I bought my JK).
I could have gone with 1/2 doors, but I chose the full doors. While the half doors are nice in the summertime, I absolutely HATE the whole zipper window thing (had them on my 3 prior Wranglers).
I think the half doors look better than full with the top down. But........I like the auto windows when I drive through starbucks.

Full doors for me.
I never really cared about the dual top option as I never wanted the OEM soft top anyway (and have already sold it), but I would have been very interested in a dual door option if it had been available. For everyday driving I like my full doors and power windows. For wheeling I think I'd have liked the half doors.

Oh well. ;)
I have full doors but want full soft doors much easier in the summer and better storage
I've got the halfs, they're great for taking on and off, which we do alot!

The zipper windows do suck though, can't argue that...but that's the nature of the beast...
Yup have the half doors, I think it is the only way a Jeep should look top down, door tops off :) I have half doors on one of my TJ's and I must admit they are a pain but the tops on the JK are much better.

x2

Or doors completely off.
I like power windows in a jeep, I don't care how wussay that is
I either run full doors or no doors anyway. I may get some tube doors but thats about it.
I went with full doors.

Reason was because later I will just get some tube doors for the half door affect. Once available, I will get full soft doors for those days you want to drive to the spot with doors then pull them off and throw them in the rear.
Half doors here...the look is esthetically correct with the top down...the zip out upper half, though, is such a POS...I understand that in the next millenium or three, the upper half with glass sliders should be available for the JK, or what ever its called in the year 3008
Full doors here. Figured I'd get a set of soft doors for spring/summer to be used as half doors when on the road.....silly me thinking they'd be available before the next generation Wrangler hits the market :shaking:.

I like the look better too, the line from the back of the tub looks perfect to me.

Ever noticed that the door handles are lower on the half doors than the full doors? It’s a huge advantage when lifted if you're under 6 feet. Ok so it’s not, but I thought I’d mention it ;)

You’re right about the zip windows being a real PITA. As the plastic gets bent more times it’s starting to hold now though.

FWIW, I’m going to look for some full doors off wrecks for next winter.

I ran these upper doors on my TJ. They're about as quiet as a full steel door. They don't make them for the JKs. Maybe if they get a lot of people inquiring about the JK, they'll make them.

Looks like an excellent product...unfortunately, after I called their toll free number, the folks at Bull Dawg have no intentions of designing/tooling up for the JK...why oh why is this a problem??? Bestop states they should have upper door sliders for the JK in 2-3 months...that was in October, when I called them:pissed:

So...for less than a hundred bucks, I can have half doors AND a lift? And for probably another 75 bucks, I can get a Louisville Slugger security system installed under my seat.

Nice.
It's full doors or no doors for me. Doors on through the winter with the convenience of power windows, doors off until it gets cold again. No sense in spending more money for something that won't be used.
