Hairline Crack in front lower control arm mount

while I changed out my control arms the other day I noticed a hairline crack in the driver side front lower control arm mount near the bolt hole on the axle side....I don't think it is supposed to be there - is it?

I can't get a pic up at the moment but if you look on the side of the mount there is a stamping and the crack is right there...appears to be from the stamp.

Is it right around the bolt hole? Pretty symmetrical, oval-looking.....could be the markings they put on for cam-bolt slots.

Thats what first came to my mind. Its the knock out plug for the eccentrics bolt.

no, it's about 1" from the bolt hole where the steel is stamped...I'll have to install new shocks tomorrow then I'll take a pic of it.
