I'll snap a picture of my center console. I carry a Officer frame 1911. I got a paddle holster, drilled 2 holes through the outside console. A strip of bar stock (lined up with the 2 center console holes) used like a belt. You will need to put a small spacer on inside( between the console and bar stock). But once you crank down on those bolts, it is not moving. The paddle holster can cant different ways to get a good pull how you like. You need to put it low enough for the lid to close as well. This is all on a 2010 as well.

Scabbard

Personally, I just attach a scabbard to the sound bar and sport bar using strong velcro straps. Works very well. I carry my Marlin 45/70 on the trail that way and it's strongly attached. Not moving at all.

The exact model of my scabbard is : NcStar Vism Tactical Shotgun Scabbard

Don't use any other product than genuine Velcro "One Wrap". I tried other brands and it's not reliable.

This is the Tactical Scabbard I'm using. It's actually for a tactical shotgun like the Remington 870. I'm using it for my lever action Marlin. I'm really in love with that thing. As you can see, it has many straps and also two hooks (on the other side, not very visible but you can see them at the top).
