Didn't much care when I got a little star in the windshield last month. But this morning I met a huge rock at highway speeds and have a baseball-sized bullseye just ahead of my driving position... I'm wondering, since so many people round here know these are rock magnets, has anyone in the Northern VA area found a really good price on new windshields?

In the past I've used Biggs auto glass; nice people and I'd love to use them again, but I need to at least know my price options.

I'd check with your insurance company. it may be covered. I had to get mine replaced not to long ago after in got hit by a bolt and cracked across and up the windshield. was fully covered by insurance and safelight had it done in less than an hour.

Nope - I think it's Virginia, but at the very least with my current and previous ins. companies, USAA and 21st, not covered.
