I was out doing a lil trail ride... more like dirt road riding with a few mud spots out in East Orlando...Trust me the spot is not worth bragging about.

And ohh my gosh... HUGE freakin gators all over the place.

I didn't bring my camera, but good lord. I saw one gator that was about 15 feet long. The average size was about 5-7 feet long. Me and my bud saw about 30 gators

If any of you go gator hunting when its in season, i can show you some good spots.

A 600lb grizzly...my, my.

"WHAT NO PICTURES!" By your own words I guess your story is worthless.

To a 15 foot gator, or even a ten foot gator, we wouldn't even be a snack.

Grant:
Convict and I are Canucks. We don't have gators in Canada so a reptile as long as a car is quite an oddity to us (read as terror). While I do not suggest or recommend that if you see another large gator, leap out of the Jeep with a Kodak and yell smile, but to us any gator is scary and somewhat curious.

If either of us is ever in Florida jeepin', I hope we are fortunate enough to have some like you around to steer us clear of becoming something's lunch.

Oh yes, a 600lb grizzly...think of a very chubby "smokey" rummaging through the woods.

I'll take some pictures next time i go out...Gators are very common over here. Espically golf courses. My one buddy had his golf ball land by a gator and the gator ate the ball. We couldn't believe it.

I think Moose posted a pic of a gator biting a front bumper... Its somewhere posted on this website...

Here's a pic of one that was getting a tan close to where I was fishing with my son. My son's 5 now and has learned to respect them and not to be like the dumb tourists that feed them. Feeding them is what screws it up for everyone else and for the gator, 'cause it usually means the gator will get too close and end up dead.

I guesstimate it to be 8' - 10'.

If your ever down in South Florida, I'll be happy to show you more gators than you'd care for. Hell I'll even invite you for dinner (gator meat and beer).
