any body running these? I need something to fix my cracked manifolds, but i dont want to pay for the ripp long tube headers.

any input is greatly appreciated

You're not going to gain any power from shorty headers, But i'm sure durability wise it will be better than the stock headers.

Ya I am fully aware of that I was just making sure that no power was lost like with the borlas,

Haven't tried the flow daddy ones, but I just swapped out my cracked manifolds for a set of JBA titanium ceramic shorty headers about 2 weeks ago, and so far they've been good. :beer:

yes. its welded in two places to the header. you could remove it (cut) if you felt the need. The most coverage is facing the spark plugs. If you look just below the shield, you can see one of the welds. It also stands off from the tubes a bit. I already had the insulation socks for the sparkplug boots... I went ahead and put em on anyway.
