I currently don't have fender liners up front but haven't really had a need for them living in CA and not doing mud or deep water.

I'm moving to Michigan next week and was curious for those of you who live in areas where you have snow and salt do you run without liners and if so does it ever cause an issue?

I have been running my 2014 in Michigan with no rear liners, just Rustoleum bedliner sprayed on the tub with Xenon fenders. Front still sports trimmed factory liners. No issues whatsoever! We had an extremely mild winter last year and average in 2014. They are forecasting a strong season like 2013 or worse, so lots of salt on the roads.

What part of the Mitten are you moving to?

I have the same set up in the rear with the plastic removed and just bed lined. I don't see any issue back there. Its more the front I'm curious about. I'm running trimmed stock fenders with no liners and I'm really starting to think some liners might be a good route to prevent that snow, ice, salt and all the other garbage on the road from getting tossed in there during the winter.

I heard about the strong season they are expecting and that's what got me thinking.

I'm moving to the Brighton / South Lyon area. I'll also be up in the U.P. often as I have a cabin up there. I'm originally from MI. I've just been in CA for the past 11 years.

I wouldn't go without front inners in Michigan winters.... They spread salt like politicians spread bullsh!t up here...:wink2:

I would at the very least coat the rears with some spray on bedliner or fluidfilm

Thanks everyone. One of the local guys here Kevs4 had and extra set of Front Poison Spyder inner fenders I got for cheap so I plan to run them up front. I'm just going to keep the rattle bed lined rear set up that I have and see how that holds up.

Although after looking at the instructions for the fender liners I might just go with new fenders as well :grin2:
