This guy has one of my favorite youtube channels. he does a ton of LS tunning. id like to see some of the other engine conversion shops chime in and give their opinion.

The only CARB Legal V8 swap

Not Legal in the state of California, Are hands are tide here in California, that is why we do not do big engine stuff here. Modify the CVN number and you are not Legal. We could do any engine, but if it is not Legal we can not Register the Jeep. We have no limits to what we could build, but we like to drive our Jeeps.

It is easy to build a big Horse power Jeep, but try and make it Legal now that is the Challenge!

I'm still curious to see wut Robbie @MoTech and @rpmEtreme think? I know that saying emissions big in California is an understatement. Bruiser was using an LS engine with a Hemi throttle body on one of the builds. I thought it was interesting to watch Jermy use HPTuners on the jeep on the dyno and the CAN bus issue that he was seeing. the 400 ish wheel horsepower number was interesting too.

It will be neat to see what a stock 3.6L sport will dyno vs what a stock 3.6L on 37s beadlocks and 5:13s will dyno ! Somthing to consider is how much parasitic loss the drivetrains have not to mention all the added waight of "jeep stuff". We will be diving more into this!
