Evap canister mounting location?

Does anybody know if the Evap canister can be mounted below the tank? Or does it need to be mounted above? Stock it mounts level with the top of the tank.

I'm mounting a fuel cell behind the back seat. I would rather not mount the Evap canister on top the tank would like to leave it under the jeep.

Could you tap the new tank into the filler neck of the stock tank? I wouldnt imagine that to cause any issues

All that is going away. I'm just worried about fuel draining down to the canister. Stupid smog shit!!

Thanks for the heads up. He emailed me back today. They have no issues keeping it underneath the jeep. That's all I needed to know.
