In Moab 2 years ago I saw the Teraflex show Jeep JK. Rescue green and 4 door. It had these great entry steps that pulled out and folded down from the frame. Looked kind of like a stirrup but it would fold up into the frame for crawling but you could leave it down around town. My 7 year old girl is having a tough time climbing into my Unlimited and needs some help. If anyone knows the name of the step maker I am talking about could you let me know or if you have a suggestion of another maker let me know. Thanks!

some quick replies there, thank you. These were just manual, nothing electric. They just had some inserts in existing frame holes and took advantage there. Each door had its own step, meaning 1-4 steps could be pulled and lowered individually. Has anyone used the Rampage steps? May end up going with the GenRight rocker guards with steps.

When I have someone who is unable to lift thier foot the whopping and intimidating distance to my door sill I make a simple "rope ladder" tied to the front and rear of the seat base with one or 2 steps.

reach in, flip out, get in, stuff back next to seat, close door.

You could even slide the rope through some PVC to give it a little stiffness for each rung.

And last I checked, 7 year olds like climbing rope ladders so its a cheap win :D

I'm not sure what mods you have on your jeep, but have you considered some rock rails. My ACE rails provide a good step for my wife and daughter (neither as small as you daughter though). Just trying to give you ideas.
