I unplugged my radio and trail guide without unplugging the battery.

The jeep will not start after I assembled it back together. I tried unplugging the ground.

Does any body have any other suggestions I should try?

Take the positive and negative terminals OFF the battery for a couple of minutes. Check your fuses too. Not sure what you could have done while unplugging those components? Weird.

Unplugged both pos & neg cables for 30 min, still the same.

I have a superchip, should I put it back to stock?

Won't turn on? Power up? Check for 12V at pin 16 of the data link connector. Check for ground at pins 4 and 5 of the dlc.

If you have a lockpick or any other can interface unplug it.
Superchip works on the computer so I would think the problem is in the jeep.

I ended up blowing the TIPM. I just wanted to thank Airpark for all there help.
The dealership in my town was telling me two weeks to get one. TheBigTMan
suggested I call Airpark and 15 min later I had my part on the way.

I think I blow the TIPM when I was running wires through the dash with a tig rod.
That's what I get for being in a hurry.( $700 later) :suicide:

Glad you got it fixed. Sorry about the fried TIPM, though.

Regarding some of the suggestions, above...
Disconnecting both battery leads doesn't make it any more disconnected than disconnecting only the negative.
In the link above, they tell you to disconnect the positive lead, and repeat the word positive. That is not a safe practice.
A good rule of thumb: Never apply a wrench to the positive terminal when the negative terminal is connected. Going by this rule will greatly reduce the risk of shorting your metal wrench on a ground point. Wrenches get hot real quick when shorting the battery, and the spark could cause the battery to explode.

Thanks for your reply. That's what I always do negitive first I just couldn't remember why.
I can machine and weld, electrical I know enough to be dangerous.
My TIPM will vouch for that.:(

So after your TIPM was replaced, did it mess up you superchips tune?
Yes I did. I told the dealership about the superchip and if they needed to reflash I would come and set it back to stock.

No call reflashed, I will have to deal with them this week.
