I'll be purchasing these HIDs for my Lowbeams and Fog lights (not worried about high beams so I'm not getting bi-xenon):

When I inquired about any additional hardware I might need for a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, the support asked if I had Daytime Running Lights. Since I've only had my JK for a few days now, I haven't had a chance to stand in front of it during the day to find out. :naw:

He said if it did in fact have DRLs I would need this CANBUS Fix:

Is this something I need, and if it is, do I need one for the regular lows AND one for the fog lights?

Unless you have a canadian Jk I don't think any come with drl here.

However you will still need a fix. The low beam on a Jk is pulse width modulated. Which means it's not steady power. It'll be havoc on ballasts or relays if the stock low wiring isn't fixed.

If you are standing in front of the jeep on and it's in park... daylight driving lights turn off. The Jeep has to be in drive for them to turn on. If you have a 6 speed, don't have the e-brake on.

Please don't put HID's in stock housings. It's dangerous and offensive to oncoming drivers and makes you look like a ricer.

If you want better light output, get the IPF kit or the Cibies from danielstern.com.
