Don’t worry TJ owners, we have not forgotten about you! There are plenty of stock TJ’s running around meaning the off road world still has some fantastic 97-06 Jeep builds left in store. Take this 05 4.0 Jeep TJ Wrangler from Big Bear, CA. Destined to run around town and to and from the airport – it probably never thought it’d see an aftermarket upgrade…

Wrong!

Joe Dennis, the TJ’s proud owner, had other plans. We put our heads together and came up with a very capable TJ that can get it’s occupants through any trail Big Bear can throw at it.

Appropriately named “Dennis’ Menace” (get it?), we built a complete TJ package including interior upgrades, exterior body armor, a full suspension upgrade, plus a killer wheel and tire pairing suited for the sharp rocks in Big Bear.

Teraflex’s 5” Pro LCG system replaced the OEM shorter and weaker arms, Bilstein shocks give it a fantastic ride. A Teraflex Extreme Short Shaft Kit and rear CV driveshaft with a JE Reel 1310 front driveshaft provide a very durable driveline upgrade and are compatible with the Teraflex transfer rcase lowering kit.

15” Trail Ready beadlock wheels with custom powdercoated red rings and 35x12.50x15 BFGoodrich KM2’s will keep him moving forward with fantastic traction and durability.

Body armor, one of the most important upgrades on rigs destined for off road life, was a great mix of two different manufacturers on this build. The front end, fenders, and sliders were GenRight metal, while the rear bumper with tire carrier was a Poison Spyder. A Warn 9.5CTI winch sits out front with a pair of Rigid LED lights.

For a hot rood look and heat reduction we opted for a Cervini ram air hood with built in scoop. Fitment was fantastic and we love the look. If you follow us on Instagram at @rebeloffroad you got to see us crush one that didn’t survive shipping and was damaged beyond repair.
Inside “Dennis’ Menace” we treated the occupants to the comfort and safety of Corbeau LG1 bucket seats and a Rock Hard 4x4 full sports cage system.

We can’t wait to see this rig on the trail the next time we are in Big Bear – it should keep right up with all the current model JK’s running around!

Looks great! Can't wait to get my LJ done. I just missed the delivery of the ORIs today. UPS rang but interrupted "happy time" with the wife so no answering the door...
