Has anyone installed D.U.I. Screamin Demon coil and a set of Live Wires? I'm also looking to get new spark plugs, NKG. My question is: the stock spark plug gap is .050. Using live wires with screamin demon coil, they say to open the spark plug to .065. What is recommended? Has anyone installed plugs with .065 gaping on a JK? Also, any positive results.

Here what they say-
Screamin Demon coils are designed to produce an exceptional spark throughout the entire RPM range with virtually no drop off in power. Stock coils are notorious for spark falling off as the RPMs increase.

The Screamin Demon coil allows you to run an astounding .065 sparkplug gap, which gives you a much more powerful burn of your fuel mixture yielding increased horsepower and fuel economy.

I run the screaming demon coil. Initially I picked up right around 30 miles to a tank. That in itself was huge. After running it for around 6 months now the gains have subsided. Still have a 10 -15 mile gain. Possibly the winter fuel is not helping so we'll see come spring. I did open the gap to The recommended .065 and she runs good probably even a little smoother.

So, I went with .060 gap with this new coil and live wires. Only because gap tool, I had was .060 or .080. I also used NGK spark plugs. Not sure about mpg yet, shifting between gear seems to be smooth back into throttle. . I only have 55k on my rig. Auto part Engine Fuel line Vehicle Automotive engine part
