I know those things are all over the place. What hangar are you working in? What shift?

Have you looked at The Fierce Attitudes? They are a cheap mud tire but aren't too aggressive. My buddy Steve has them and likes them.

Yea tirebuyer is the shit. You should get them FedEx in 2 days. Usually They ship from savannah. Any of those tires are good choices. My MTZ's were $307 each.

Just go with the Dick Cepek. On a 2 door it'll be a LONG time before you'll need another set.

A guy I work with loves his toyo mt's. His are 38" with 20" wheel. He says they're quiet and he can cruise at 90 on the highway.

A guy that had the ATZ's 33's said they're loud.

But those are two different vehicles and different miles on the tires.

Yup... grain of salt... Ive read every review out there.

The guys who think the ATZ's are loud, mounted them on a Saturn SUV... and the guys who says the
Toyo's are the quietest MT ever, just replaced a set of Boggers. (Obviously those are the extreme from both directions)

I know both are great tires, I am just trying to figure out the best for my needs.

well. sadly, the only one who can know your needs is you.

obviously, the ATZ "looks" to be the better road tire. closer tread blocks, more siping. should perform well in rain. the Toyo has less siping with wider spaced blocks. better offroad... possibly less traction on wet roads.

its a toss up.

like i had said. i made the choice for all terrains when i replaced my orginal m/t's. i dont regret my choice, but i still long for the rumble and look of a mud tire on my rig.

i've got Nitto Terra Grapplers.

never been in mud with em, other than local dirt roads. on the roads, they've cleaned out pretty good. in the sands of OBX, they were flawless. on the road, they've been phenomenal. they have a relatively low standard pressure. where many are at 40-45psi... my tires are max cold of 35psi. dont recall the load range right now. 285-70-17.

like i said.
great tires. only reason i got a/t's... we had a Challenger... then got pregnant about the same time we were due for tires on the JK. we did NOT want to let the Challenger go. 6 months after Perrin was born... lightning struck again. Challenger got traded. I got stuck with A/Ts... :thankyou:

not that i'm complaining. we got purdy babies.

Ok guys, I guess I've gone soft. :(

In the "Mind over Matter" battle the ATZ's won over the Toyo M/T's and are in route as we speak.

I am done beating this thing up, and need a highway tire.

I'd like the KM2's to stick around if I can find some cheap wheels.
Anyone got any leads? (obviously, they gotta be 17")
