I am having a problem with the clutch. I have a dual friction center force assembly. I called 4wheel parts, since they installed it. They recommend I look into the master cylinder, the lines, the slave cause to find why I'm losing pressure.
It happens after a long drive. I need to constantly be pumping the clutch to get it to work. And it's only a lil grab.

I have 2008 JK Sport. I don't always do work on it, i never do my own work actually, but I want to start with this. I can't seem to locate the reservoir. Is it the break fluid reservoir also for the clutch?

Should they have??? Sort of a gray area. One side--it's not bad so don't push the customer to buy a part that's not bad. But the other side is---you're in there, replace it. Otherwise you have to pull the trans again as you're finding out. Several clutch kits include a new slave also.

This is red. ALWAYS spend the extra $$ and put in a new slave.

As far as your clutch hydraulic setup, did they bleed it?

Are you finding any fluids under the jeep when it sits for any amount of time?

Check the tank and make sure it's filled to the proper level. Also check for any leaks (use a flash light) on the line from the master to the slave.

Sounds like there is either air in the system OR its low on fluid.

It was bled. It's been sitting for two weeks now, I've been checking to see if there is any fluid on the floor since I noticed I've been losing pressure. No puddle. I checked the tank, it's filled to the proper level. I'll bleed it first before I go onto more invasive procedures. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Axle now.

It turned out to be the freaken slave. The plastic piece that looks like a cap inside the tranny, makes contact with the fork, well that was broken. Replaced it, and immediately got pressure back. Woot woot.

Whole new problem now. I got a little crazy at the lake, I bent the rear axle.:mad:

What can I use to replace? Stock? Is there something better?

Did you just bend the axle shaft, or did you bend the axle housing/tube?
