I have a CB radio with a PA speaker but I'm having issues figuring out where to route the wire into the cabin. The speaker will sit right next to the brake fluid and fender.

Open the hood and take a flashlight and look right under the curved cowl. There is a hole there with foam inside it. This hole goes right into the cabin. On the inside of the jeep take the driver side end piece of the dash off and you can see the hole a little better. Get a metal coat hangar and you can poke a hole through that foam.

I was looking there a bit. The driver size end piece could be kind just pushed in a bit to expose a hole but I wasn't sure if it was the same or if anything was on the inside. Thanks for the help.

For future reference there is the exact hole on the passenger side as well.

duct tape the end of your PA speaker wire to an unfolded metal coat-hanger then spear that holes expanding foam filler with this to drive the wire thru, unduct-tape and extract coat hanger with your wire attached to something to retain it . As Gunny said, the cowling holes for this exist upon both sides. You dislike this , get a hole saw or use floor access ports :jeep2:

<sorry, USMC ; I failed to notice that last suggestion you 'd made about coathanger. my bad>
