just ordered 2 kc daylighter lights that are 100 watts each just wondering how many amps the stock alternator can handle? I do have a cobra 29 cb radio installed and wanting to add more electronics and maybe 2 more kc lights in the near future

Yes, just make sure you size your primary appropriately and use a relay to switch power right off the battery.

Amps = Watts / Volts.

Amps = (100 * 2) / 12

Amps = 16.6667

JK Alternator puts out 140A at ~ 2000 RPM.

I don't know what the baseline electrical requirements are for a running JK engine. Maybe someone with a DC clamp-on ammeter can check the draw on the alternator output, but I don't have such a meter. A guess is its somewhere around 40A. Headlights and marker lights require another 15 to 20A. Standard care stereo 5A. So 140-(40+20+5)=85A surplus for accessories, including auxiliary lighting. You should have no trouble running up to ten KC 100W lamps.

They were nice but now I run

1 50" Led bar
1 12" Led bar
2 Rigid D2's
1 rigid D2 in rear.

I have run a 3000w inverter. the only thing that drew enough power to drain the battery was a 13,500btu RV AC unit.
