Has anyone been or anyone going this year ? Just wondering about the best area to stay there. I know it's between Lynchburg and Charlottesville. Where will most of the Jeepers be staying ? This is my first Jeep and I'm pumped to go this year.

They have'nt anounced it yet but I called the Camp Jeep hotline and they said it would be at Oakridge Estate again on july 24,25,and 26th.

confirming a rumor i read elsewhere, Just got off the phone w/ the hotline (1-877-CAMP-JEEP) (877-226-7533) and the 2008 event is officially cancelled. I was told that plans are in the works for 2009, and the gent i spoke to was nice enough to take my info for future mailings, etc... (sorry if this is old news, but i didn't see it anywhere else here)

We're getting the word out to all of our loyal early-bird registrants that the Jeep® brand has selected summer of 2009 for the 15th Camp Jeep.

Camp Jeep #14 in 2007 was the biggest, most successful event to date. The Jeep brand and its hundreds of event partners are gearing up to make Camp Jeep #15 the best event to date. As always, you can expect top-notch music, entertainment, four-wheeling, vehicle displays, and interaction with Jeep designers, engineers and more.
