3" lift is the general consensus to clear 35's and not rub.

It can be done stock....just don't go off-road til your lift comes in!! I've been running 35's on mine for about 2 months now and still haven't got my friggin lift yet (not by choice of course):bawling:

I am running 35's with 2.5" and it is pretty good. I do not rub at all (now that stock bumper has been replaced with a stubby). As always, it is all about bumpstops to not rub.

If you are only offroad sometimes 2.5" is enough. I will be going to 3" or 3.5" to be more comfortable but still maintain a decent COG.

Not sure if you have made a decision yet but we have gotten alot of positive feedback on our stuff. Its worth a look if you haven't seen it yet.

JK Synergy Stage II System

Not the cheapest but addresses all the issues correctly when lifting the JK.
