Hey guys, first post here. I am waiting on my jk rubi to be built and delivered at the moment. I pretty much have my build planned out but I am undecided on front and rear bumpers. Any help would appreciated. it looks like it is missing the tire carrier.

Front looks like a Shrockworks stubby with no stinger. I run that bumper. Like how low the winch sits.

That rear looks like the Teraflex bumper with no swingout. I had one and hated it. The swingout was always making rattling sounds. Gave it away for something better. (For the record - I love Teraflex and they make great products but that pivot point design on the bumper swingout is just stupid.)

I now run a Fabfours rear bumper - love it.

But I started this build 4 years ago. If I was picking bumpers today I'd take a long look at either Gen Right or Poision Spyder.

I have been looking at poly performance koh bumper and brawler lite bumpers from ps. There is only two things that I dislike about the ps brawler. Is the logo (im a simple guy) and I do not like that the winch mounts on top of the bumper. I love the recessed mounts not only to protect the winch but I do not want to block any air to the radiator.

Checkout jcr, they have a few pretty cool bumpers that are sunken in

welcome!! Congrats on the Rubi. I like that front bumper a lot. I just went bumper shopping a few months ago. Couldn't find what I liked so I fabbed em up myself. Simple, strong, square, (like my Jeep, lol) cheap & effective.

Good luck with your build. Keep us posted for sure.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! This will be my second 4x4, I have a built 2000 zr2 s10 and I sol my 2002 m3 to fund my rubi. I can't wait. I like it over here much better than "over there". I have looked at jcr but there's still something lacking IMO. I still have some time since I ordered my jeep on 5/15, you guys have some bitchin rigs. If there are any other bumpers that are small, simple with a recessed mount I would greatly appriciate it.

Yeah I kinda miss it at times. It was a blast! I have not really been on the site much ;-(

Let us know when she arrives and post some pics...
Will do man. It's been verrryyy slow over there. I'm debating on selling the zr2. I really won't have a need for 2 4wds after the jeep comes in an I get freakin terrible mileage with 3.73s and 33s, but on the other hand it's paid for and costs me 65$ a year. :( idk what to do

I really like the shrockworks rear bumper except for the backup lights and that their logo is cut out of the bumper. I like to keep it clean and simple. I wonder if I could custom order without it?

You use to be able to custom order it without. That's what I did and believe me, I tell everyone my bumpers are Shrockworks to make sure they get credit. Great looking bumpers!
