Was replacing my cracked manifold and found that I was missing an outer bolt when pulling it. All of the bolts we really easy to get out. Anybody ever run into this. It is the last bolt closest to the firewall on the drivers side.

I paid Midas to do the work when I had a cracked manifold. But when you pulled the manifold can you get some visegrips on the stud that is left?

Stud is flush with the head surface. Nothing to grab on. Going to purchase a dremmel or a small angled drill to see if I can drill into it to get a extractor in there.

May try a left hand drill bit. Have any pictures of how tight the area is?

Damn Iphone, may have to turn your head sideways. Looks like about 2-3 inches...hopefully. it is the last bolt hole
