Looking for he biggest Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac I can fit in a stock Wrangler X. I plan on putting on a budget lift before it sees any kind of trail use but I need tires pretty quick. Tried Discount tires site but my search for a 16" size was coming up empty. Thanks for any help.

Another question. I have an auto. Would I need to regear anytime soon or can I drive on it for a while? I'm currently stationed overseas and my wife is the one driving it right now and I dont want her to have to get something major done to it while I'm gone.

If you had the 16" wheels with baby tires you most likely have the 3:23? Or whatever super base models got.

If will drive but kinda be a dog. Do you plan to go bigger in the future or no?

No bigger than maybe 35's since I only have the Dana 30 front.

Yeah do it right sleeves, gussets, and while it's all torn apart toss in 5.13 gears. You'll save on labor if you find a good shop who can do it all.

You can always drive with it with the 35's and see how bad of a dog it is, and if you it's worth the extra grand beefing up the axles. I ran with 35's for 6 months on 35's (I have an auto rubi with 4.10's) and it wasn't too bad, but hills were causing constant sporadic shifting.

As far as finding tires a couple of tips:
Go to the manufacturers website to find sizes made (check tire weight, load rating, etc to see what fits your needs)
Go to the store website to see if they sell that brand
Order them thru the store that carries them...they rarely stock large tires.
