whats the best lift for the price? im looking for a 4 inch lift but my jeeps my daily driver so i want everything i need to make it smooth down the road any ideas?

What's you're budget?

3.5-4" is about the line where things get expensive if you want it to drive well..Planning 37s I assume?

well i was lookin at the 4 inch standard skyjacker thats 1070 bucks on quatratec im looking to spend about 1500 by the time i get everything like the coils shocks brakeline relocators, dropped pitman arm and steering stabilizer

You absolutely do not want a drop pitman arm, unless you want more problems than it's worth. They are great paper weights and have no place on a vehicle. You'll notice they are only included in the most "inexpensive" lifts for they money. You want a lift with a drag link flip at that height.

I've got the 2" OME and love it. I would look at the 4"

cant i buy a drag link flip by itself?
Yep, sure can. However your money is probably best spent toward a quality component kit that includes all of that. Perhaps check out what Rock Krawler and Poly Performance is offering for their similar height kits. You'll pay more, but you'll get more.

3.5"+ lifted, good road manners and cheap[est] usually doesn't work well.

Stay away from skyjacker... Save your money for a quality kit if you want your rig to drive well in all conditions and scenarios. Brands to check out would be rock krawler, synergy/poly, and metal cloak. Those are my personal favorites, but there are others too that folks on here will recommend. I think most everyone would be in agreement about the ones I mentioned though.

What's your end goal with the lift. Do you plan to spend a lot of time offroad? What size tires do you want to run? Also, what type of terrain do you plan to mostly tackle?

i dont do much offroading at all once ina while i take it to the powerlines by my house. this is more a roadqueen. anygood websites where i could find these brands at?

I am one of the guys who did the budget lift because I just wanted to get bigger tires under it. Well, at 4 inches my driveshaft wasn't too happy. And I started going Offroad more than I thought I would. Then I needed adj arms for the new driveshaft. See where this is goin?!

I just finished my RK 3.5 max travel and I know I'm in good hands with it. Support for this brand and info readily available is a big plus for me.

My point I guess is don't let a couple hundred dollars make ya do this process twice. Read some reviews on some of these brands mentioned here and good luck on your choice

Have you thought about a 2.5" kit? 35's fit and better ride and handling on the rd. the Aev and Rock Krawler have the best on rd ride that I have experienced. They are not much more than your wanting to spend.

I would agree with JD, why open a can of worms at 3.5" when a 2.5" will probably get you what you want for the type of conditions you will use it in.

The 2.5 RK is perfect for 35s. With a set of flats you will clear 37s easily.

Yep. 2.5 inch RK max travel with some quality shocks and youll be a happy camper!

You want a cheap 4" lift that runs smooth down the road.
I do not think such a product exists.

Don't be fooled by low price lifts that sell for $500 that give you 4" of lift, they are all incomplete and will require much, much more components, headaches, and money to correct everything they screw up in your steering and suspension geometry.

But in the end it is your rig, do what you want with it.
You can simply get some 4" coils from several manufactures out there and install them for around $300. It would be dangerous and ride like shit but you would have a 4" lift to do whatever you think you need it for.

3.5 and flats for 35? I think the 35s will look a little out of place.
3.5" of actually lift, not so much a 3.5 lift that will yield 4"+. It may look a little tall but I figured if he wanted 4" this was close enough.
