Just North of Paradise and Magalia is a beautiful trail system and OHV area called the High Lakes. This is a collection of about 15 small lakes. Some trails are harder than others, but most have dispersed camping located around the edges. Look up Friends of the High Lakes if you would like more information of the area. This is Bear Lake trail
